SUPERVISION According to the BACP, counselling supervision refers to a formal arrangement which enables counsellors to discuss their counselling regularly with one or more people who are normally experienced as counselling practitioners and have an understanding of counselling supervision. Its purpose is to ensure the efficacy of the counsellor / client relationship. Supervision should also include regular reviews, clarification of objectives and feedback. |
